TranscribeMe has partnered with GigaOM to provide all transcripts for their conference sessions this year. GigaOm has already posted them on their site and we’re summarizing some of the highlights for those of you who couldn’t attend.

The latest conference we attended was the 2013 GigaOm paidContent Live Conference in NY on April 17, 2013. Speakers included Alan Rusbridger of The Guardian, Jon Steinberg of BuzzFeed and blogger Andrew Sullivan discussing the disruptions in publishing, journalism, and advertising. Some of the main topics of discussion included: paywalls vs. open journalism, the different approaches to paywalls, sponsored content, independence in writing, and the future of books. There was also a startup showcase, panel discussions, and interviews with some prominent speakers.

If you enjoyed the GigaOm paidContent Live Conference in NY last week or are you interested in learning more, check out GigaOm’s website for the transcripts and even more information about the different pitch sessions!

They’ve posted transcripts for sessions including:

  • How the public is reshaping media at Reddit, Vox and LinkedIn
  • Content personalization still has a long way to go
  • The definitive answer of web or apps as the future of mobile content? It depends
  • Why digital book publishers are starting to embrace data
  • And much more!

We thoroughly enjoyed being part of the 2013 GigaOm paidContent Live Conference. We hope you find the transcripts useful.
